Sekyiwa Shakur (born October 3, ) is an American Philanthropist and current Leader of the Tupac Ameru Shakur Foundation. She is known for being the half sister of famous rapper Tupac Shakur.

Early life

Sekyiwa Shakur was born in Harlem, New York on October 3, She is the daughter of Afeni Shakur () and Mutulu Shakur

Both of her parents were Political activists and former members of the Black Panther Party.

Her mother was charged for crimes related to the Black Panther Party, including the Panther 21 . But was later acquitted and that caused her to leave the Black Panther Party. Her father was also involved with crimes in the Black Panther Party including the robbery, but was not captured until In Sekyiwa's parents divorced and she moved to Maryland with her mother and her brother.
