Pak Pong-ju (Korean: 박봉주;[1] born 10 April 1939) is a North Korean politician who served as the Premier of North Korea from 2003 to 2007 and again from 2013 to 2019.[2] He was elected a member of the Presidium of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) in 2016.

Early career

Pak Pong-ju was born in 1939.[3] Pak began his career in 1962 as manager of the Yongchon food factory in North Pyong'an Province.
